Bio:

Mannerisms and Appearance
Oris dresses in dark grey robes that are flowing, yet well fitting and can use to conceal weapons, distract foes and blend with the shadows. He carries a fullblade vertically down his back and a band with 5 daggers concealed within the front of his robes (down and to the left).

Oris’ flat affect makes it difficult for people to read his intent and he often comes off as aloof and distant – no doubt exacerbated by witnessing the horror of the Day of Mourning. But it also plays to his advantage when trying to draw information out of others by bluffing.

History
Public: Oris continued working for the Dark Lanterns during the 2 years between the Day of Mourning and the Treaty of Thronehold. Once the treaty was signed, the Brelish government released him from official service as a show of good faith to the other nations (“since we are all aligned, there should be no need to spy on one another”), but continued to retain his services through several degrees of indirection. Additionally he worked as a “spy for hire” but with the underlying goal of finding out who (or what) was behind the horrors of the Day of Mourning.

Private: The Day of Mourning affected Oris deeply in ways he only barely realizes. Obsessed with uncovering the secrets of the grey mist, he began exploring the mysteries of the shadows. He became more and more involved with the Brelish chapter of the Bleak Disciple guild and has started to master their shadow powers. Oris still believes he is using the shadow power for good and that it is the best course of fulfilling his goal and uncovering the truth, but there is risk that over time its pull draws him into darkness and a future incarnation of evil.
